Acentuando lo gráfico de la foto/ grafía, la exposición indaga territorios híbridos y construcciones armadas con lo que hay. Sin planificación ni diseño, lo capturado viene a conjugarse en el encuadre de cada foto como una relación de materiales-superficies.
Son imágenes construidas desde otra noción de ocupación, la del oficio que implica el trabajo análogo con la técnica precaria de la fotoemulsión. Con la química inestable de las sales de plata junto con la decidida intervención gráfica sobre lo revelado, Catalina de la Cruz llega al enigma de la imagen.

Accentuating the graphic nature of the photo/graph, the exhibition explores hybrid territories and constructions built with all there is. Without any planning or design, what is captured comes to be in the frame of each photo as a relation between materials and surfaces.
These images are constructed based on another notion of occupation, that of the craft that involves analogous procedures using the precarious photographic emulsion technique. With the unstable chemistry of the silver salts, together with the decisive graphic intervention on what is revealed, Catalina de la Cruz gets to the enigma of the image.
